Telet is a new breed of UK Mobile Network Operator. A full operator member of the GSMA, we run a 4G and 5G mobile network, focused on improving mobile coverage in rural “Not Spots”.
CEO James Body founded Telet in 2016 after a career in the Royal Signals and various telecoms businesses, including Truphone. Frustrated by poor mobile coverage in his village , James decided to build his own network.
The Chalke Valley, near Sailsbury is England’s largest “not-spot” and is an area of “Outstanding Natural Beauty”. Through an initial deployment of small cells onto the chimneys of private buildings and Village Halls we have been able to build out mobile coverage in areas that were previously inaccessible.
Today, we use our network to deliver 4G and 5G networking solutions for communities and enterprises, deploying small cells sensitively and in the most appropriate locations.
Uniquely, our Multi-Operator Neutral Host (MONeH) technology allows our single network to provide service to customers of any mobile operator and can be rapidly deployed into your local not spot to improve coverage, or along side your private 4G/5G network to enable your subscribers to “roam” from private to public.
James is an innovator across the Communications Industry and frequently takes part in industry forums and conferences. Prior to setting up Telet Research, James ran the Network Design, Research & Development and Innovation Teams at International Mobile Network operator, Truphone.
